Turn Down the Heat When You Sleep
The recommended sleep temperature is 65 degrees. This allows you to save energy and sleep better. You can also save energy by turning the heat down to 60 degrees when you are out of the house.
Keep your Curtains Open
Opposite of the summer time keep your sun facing window coverings open to let the heat from the sun warm up your home for free.
Change your Fan Direction
In the winter switch your fan blades to turn clockwise to pull the warm air that has risen back down to ground level.
Schedule Annual Maintenance
Annual maintenance will help find issues in your furnace. When your heating system must work harder it cost you more money. We can also recommend when it may be time to get a new furnace.
